Founded in 1913, the family-owned company CLAAS is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery, headquartered in Harsewinkel, Germany.

It is the company that made the combine harvester marketable in 1936.

For the restructuring at the main plant in Harsewinkel, which was completed in 2003, our office prepared the building and structural design and took over the site supervision.

A particular challenge was the superstructure of approx. 13,000 sqm of production area during ongoing operations for the assembly area and new conveyor technology.

In addition, 3 production levels were created on a floor area of approx. 9,500 sqm for machine body shop, coloring and component storage.
